Students, staff and governors are today celebrating New College Doncaster’s very first set of A Level and Level 3 BTEC results. The Auckley-based college was the first to join New College Pontefract in the New Collaborative Learning Trust in 2017, with New College Bradford opening in September this year.
The results showed an A Level pass rate of 99%, with over half of all students achieving an A*-B grade. BTEC results were remarkable with 100% pass rate and 97% of students achieving a Distinction or Distinction* grade. The college’s value added (ALPS) scores placed the college in the top 40% of all college’s nationally for A Level and the top 10% for BTEC.

James Gothard – History A*, History A*, Maths A.
Elizabeth Middleton – Chemistry A*, Maths for Further Maths A*, Biology A.
Plus over 50 BTEC students who achieved 3+ Distinction* grades.
