We are delighted to invite senior and middle leaders to join us for our 1-day CPD event on Monday 11 July at New College Doncaster.
For state-funded secondary and post-16 providers in Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley and Sheffield up to three places per organisation are being fully funded by the Doncaster Opportunity Area. We are also pleased to offer places at only £95 per delegate for additional attendees, or for those outside of these local authorities.
This event is aimed at 11-16 providers, 11-18 providers and post-16 providers.
About New College Doncaster
New College Doncaster has grown significantly since opening in September 2017. Inspected by Ofsted in December 2021, the college was rated ‘outstanding’ in all areas and sits alongside its sister college, New College Pontefract, also rated ‘outstanding’. Senior and middle leaders have learnt a great deal over the last five years, incrementally improving and developing our systems, teaching and learning, student support and leadership. We are keen to share with other schools and colleges what we have learnt, how we prepared for inspection, and to provide an overview of what we feel has helped us to be successful. We are also keen to learn from others, and to provide an opportunity for colleagues to discuss the different strengths we all have in our schools and colleges.
About this Event
The event will largely focus on systems and principles which can be applied in a range of different settings, both secondary and post-16. Delegates will be able to tailor their day to their own requirements, selecting workshops from a range of different options available.
The event will provide colleagues with the opportunity to reflect on their own provision, to discuss ideas and best practice, and identify possible areas for further development.
