How to Apply

Applications for September 2026.

Our official application deadline was 23 February 2026, however you are still welcome to apply for September 2026. We will consider your application further when we have completed our main Enrolment Days on 20 and 21 August. Please make sure you have completed the full application form using the ‘Apply Now’ button on this page.

If we have places still available in college after 21 August, we will contact you by email to attend our Late Enrolment Day on Thursday 27 August to discuss course options and to consider your enrolment.

(There may be further opportunities to enrol prior to the start of term, however, this will be dependent on whether there are still spaces in college.)

Although we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer places to all late applicants, including those that apply over the summer, we will try our best to provide as many places as we can, provided you have achieved the grades needed and in accordance with our Admissions Policy.

Please be aware that if any courses are oversubscribed at enrolment, priority is given to those students that met the official application deadline. However, we expect that places will be available at enrolment for many courses. We will aim to interview and make conditional offers to as many late applicants as we can and encourage late applicants to apply as soon as possible.

The Five Steps to Joining New College

1. Attend one of our Open Events (optional but strongly recommended) – students and parents are very welcome. Opportunities to listen to a short presentation by the Principal and speak to subject staff and students. Check out our Open Events webpage for the latest dates of events.
2. Apply online using our online application system before the deadline date.
3. Attend an interview, where you will hopefully be offered a conditional place. We will write to you with all the details in advance.
4. Attend on your invited Induction Day in July where you can sample lessons from the subjects you have chosen.
5. Attend on your invited Enrolment Day (ensure you bring proof of your qualifications) and become an official New College student.
