Following a review of Level 3 Applied General qualifications by the Department for Education earlier this year, we will change specifications for new students joining us in September 2025 on the following courses:
Applied Human Biology
Applied Science
Children’s Play, Learning and Development
Health and Social Care (single)

Details of the changes can be found below. Students who currently have a conditional offer to study one of the above qualifications will have their offers transferred onto the new specification.
In most cases, the content and skills of the new specification are largely similar to the old specifications outlined in our printed prospectus.
